Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter softened or melted
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp of 1 whisked egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • teaspoon baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • cup chocolate chips
  • flaky sea salt

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
  • Add the whisked egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
  • Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a round cookie.
  • Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 10 mins or in the refrigerator for 30 mins.
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is slightly undercooked.
  • Let the cookie cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.Sprinkle the cookies with flaky sea salt.
