vanilla extract

flaky sea salt
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until well combined.
Add the whisked egg and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt until just combined. Do not overmix.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, forming a round cookie.
Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 10 mins or in the refrigerator for 30 mins.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is slightly undercooked.
Let the cookie cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.Sprinkle the cookies with flaky sea salt.
